What is NEET?

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), is the entrance test for admission n MBBS, and BDS seats across India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts this entrance test.
The students who are interested in medical courses must have physics, chemistry, and biology/ biotechnology as their compulsory subjects in classes 10th and 12th, and they must have passed all of these subjects.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [ NEET (UG) – 2022] will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, the 17 July 2022 (Sunday) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental /AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities /Institutes (AIIMS & JIPMER) in India, as per Section 14 of The National Medical Commission (NMC) Act, 2019 and relevant Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) 1997, as amended from time to time. The languages in which the NEET (UG) 2022 would be conducted are : English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.


Eligibility for NEET exam : 
 
Qualifying Exam Age Limit Eligible Marks
  • Candidates must have to pass class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as main subject from any recognized board.
Candidates must have 18 years old or above
UR - 50%
PWD - 45% OBC/SC/ST - 40%
  • Candidates who had appeared/ appearing their class 12 exam and waiting for the result are also eligible for the exam.
